Jharipani Camping: Camp with a View
Jharipani is an unconventional camping destination in the lap of Mussourie hills. Offering arguably the best view of the Doon valley and the Shivalik range, Jharipani is best known for the spectacular Jharipani falls. At a 6 km trek downhill from Mussourie, Jharipani falls with cold crystal clear water is simply a treat for the eyes. Deoria Tal Camping: Snow Clad Tranquility
Situated off the road from Sari Village & Mastura at 3kms, Deoria Tal boasts of being the best summer camping destination for the adventurous. Overlooking the Himalayas, Deoria Tal is situated on a much frequented trek route of Uttarakhand leading up to Tungnath, the highest shrine of God Shiva. Quite isolated, Deoria Tal has a crystal clear lake in the center; the visually appealing backdrop is decorated by the snow-covered Chaukhamba Mountains. Clear skies allow for a beautiful reflection of the towering mountains in the placid lake water. Trekking is the way to arrive at Deoria Tal, an uphill climb through and through.
